Abstract

The gearbox has a torque transmission mechanism with an inertial mass (1) rotating between at least two determined positions (I, PM, P) corresponding to respective configurations of the functioning of the gearbox. Units (10, 11) constrain the inertial mass with respect to a wall (2), to ensure stable maintenance of the inertial mass in one of its determined positions. - The determined positions correspond to odd speed ratios (I), dead point (PM) and even speeds (P).
