![Figure img00010001](https://patentimages.storage.***apis.com/84/de/71/1a0da45141d9e2/img00010001.png)
The present invention relates to a connector for plastic sheaths allowing the passage of a cable generally consisting of a bundle of electrically conductive wires. More particularly, these electrical wires are intended for telecommunications. The cable sections are usually 300 m long. Connections are made between these sections. The cable is protected by a plastic sheath of PVC type, generally 6 m long. These latter sections are connected by PVC sleeves. The transition from public to private property of the subscriber is hitherto carried out by a junction box ensuring the connection between the sheath in rigid plastic material of PVC type and the groin in corrugated plastic material. The cable goes from one groin to another to a connection box for the different wires of the cable allowing the current to be distributed in private property. The couplings intended to ensure the junction between various sheaths most often consist of a sleeve comprising removable threaded parts. Thus the FESTO KG FR patent. A.2.676.109 describes a sleeve comprising a thread (internal Ye on which a connection is screwed. The threading is carried out on a cylindrical portion following a conical part, which makes it possible to seal between connection and sleeve The NOVO NORDIS KA / S / WO 96 patent 23,999 relates to a screw connection for two tubular plastic parts The two parts are held in a predefined mutual rotary position The MANNESMANN AG patent WO 99.1I 963 relates to a pipe connection consisting of '' a female end fitting with a female thread and a male end fitting with a male thread screwing onto the female thread One of the end fittings has a constant continuous pitch while] * the other has two sections, each of these sections being for constant pitch These threaded connections are not suitable for connecting ducts of different natures, obviously they cannot replace the junction box for public roads / property very strong onereuN The connector according to the invention overcomes the shortcomings of the prior art. It has a rigid plastic sleeve intended to connect on one side a rigid plastic sheath and on the other side a corrugated plastic sheath so that the cable slides easily inside the two sheaths and the sleeve .

![Figure img00020001](https://patentimages.storage.***apis.com/33/0f/68/610fc4dbe3ef98/img00020001.png)
Preferably said sleeve comprises on each side a housing intended to each receive a groin, which housing is terminated by a countersink on which each of the sheaths is positioned in abutment. Advantageously, the rigid plastic sheath in abutment on the counterbore of its housing is held in position by gluing in the sleeve, the other plastic sheath annulated in abutment on the counterbore of its housing is maintained in position by an engaged O-ring. , on the one hand in an annular groove made in the corresponding housing of the sleeve, on the other hand in one of the corrugations forming the corrugated plastic sheath. According to a preferred embodiment, a frustoconical part connects the counterbores serving as a stop for each of the flocks so that the cable can slide easily inside the two sheaths and the sleeve. According to other characteristics, the sleeve is produced by machining a cylindrical polyvinyl chloride (usually called PVC), the plastics used to make the sheaths are polyvinyl chloride (PVC) for the rigid sheath and polyethylene (usually called TPC) for the corrugated sheath. The connector according to the invention is therefore simpler than the usual junction boxes. Its cost is much lower, simple to implement it responds well to the goals set. Other characteristics will appear in the following description of an embodiment of the present invention given by way of nonlimiting example with regard to the single drawing arneNé which is a schematic sectional view of the connector according to the invention Some dimensions will be given by way of illustration The connector 2 is machined in a PVC cylinder with a diameter of 51.5 mm allowing the passage of a cable with a diameter of 30 mm. Two housings, one on the left side 21 the other on the right 22 with respective diameters 45.5 m111 and 40.5 111111 of 255 111111 each have l111 counterbore 21 'and 22' which are connected by a frustoconical part 24. The rigid plastic sheath 1 of PVC type shown on the left with diameters 42/45 mm is inserted and glued into the housing 21 abutting on the tongue 21 '. The grooved plastic ring 4 of TPC type shown on the right of diam 32/40 is inserted into the housing 22 abutting on the counterbore 22 'and immobilized longitudinally by an O-ring 23 introduced on the one hand into a groove made in the housing 2_33 and on the other hand in one of the rings constituting the sheath 4.
