Abstract

Le dispositif est un substitut osseux composite visant à remplir chirurgicalement le vide laissé par un relèvement ostéocartilagineux. Il s'agit d'une pièce métallique creuse dont les parois sont revêtues de phosphate tricalique ou hydroxyapatite. Le revêtement de surface est composé de 2 couches de porosité croissante de la profondeur vers la périphérie.

DISPOSITIF DE SOUTIEN DES ENFONCEMENTS OSTEOARTICULAIRES
EN HYDROXYAPATITE ARMEE
Le dispositif vise à assurer le soutien d'un relèvement ostéocartilagineuse chirurgical d'origine traumatique ou non.
Pour combler le vide créé par ce relèvement opératoire, on utilise habituellement divers produits : os autogène, os étranger ou substitut calcique naturel (corail) ou artificiel (phosphate tricalcique ou hydroxyapatite).
Le présent dispositif (fig.1) est un substitut artificiel qui vise à jouer ce rôle en toute circonstance : il s'adapte par sa forme et ses tailles aux variétés de vide que le chirurgien doit combler, grâce à sa forme générale en anneau, il n'est pas un obstacle à la traversée des vis de l'ostéosynthèse, et par sa structure composite, il satisfait à la fois aux contraintes mécaniques tout en permettant un accroissement de la surface de contact avec l'environnement osseux.
Le dispositif de base (fig.2) a pour principe de présenter la forme générale d'une pièce creuse (C). Sa paroi est composée au centre d'une armature métallique légère (A) et à la périphérie d'un revêtement de synthèse en phosphate tricalcique ou hydroxyapatite (B).
La couche superficielle de phosphate tricalcique ou hydroxyapatite (B) recouvre toute la surface de l'anneau métallique (A), elle est d'épaisseur variable et sa porosité va croissante de la profondeur (i) à la superficie (2).

REVENDICATIONS 1 - Dispositif métallique de soutien osseux visant à combler une perte de substance après relèvement chirurgical ostéo-articulaire caractérisé en ce qu'il est composé d'une pièce métallique creuse en forme d'anneau (A) dont le vide central permet le passage des vis d'ostéosynthèse.
  2. 2 - Dispositif selon la revendication 1 caractérisé en ce que la pièce métallique A est revêtue sur ses 2 faces, interne et externe, d'un revêtement poreux en phosphate tricalcique ou hydroxyapatite.
  3. 3 - Dispositif selon la revendications 2 caractérisé en ce que le revêtement périphérique B dispose d'une porosité croissante de la profondeur (1) à la périphérie (2) afin de faciliter l'ostéoconduction.
