Abstract

A roller skate comprising a frame (6) securable to a boot, and having at least two in-line rollers (3, 15) and a brake block (13) attached to the frame (6) behind the rollers. Said skate comprises retraction means (10) linked at least to the rear roller(s) (3) closest to the brake block (13) in such a way that when the brake block (13) engages the rolling surface (14) contacted by the other rollers, said rear roller(s) (3) is (are) retracted from engagement with said surface (14).

De ce fait, le collier 4 vient prendre appui sur la tige 11 par l'intermédiaire du fourreau 12 articulé sur l'axe x6. Ce mouvement a pour effet de casser la genouillère 20 formée par le palonnier 7, la butée B1 et la biellette 8, et donc d'escamoter la roue 3 par rapport aux autres roues 15, 16 et 17. La roue 15 reste constamment en contact avec le sol et permet donc de garder une stabilité lors du freinage en conservant l'équilibre du patineur alors que les roues 16, 17, situées à l'avant se soulèvent en pivotant autour de la roue 15 sous l'effet du poids et de la position du patineur, permettant ainsi de moduler aisément la puissance de freinage en fonction de lteffort F1 fourni vers l'arrière (cf. figure 3). Cette dite biellette 8 et cedit palonnier 7 forment une genouillère 20 dont l'axe neutre est défini par les axes x2, x3, et venant se verrouiller au niveau de la butée B1 en position dite de roulage et maintenue systématiquement dans cette position de roulage grâce à un ou plusieurs ressorts

- d'un étrier 9 articulé avec la biellette 8 au niveau de l'axe x5 et supportant la tige 11 de manière réglable et pouvant prendre appui sur la butée réglable B3 pour une transmission direct des efforts au sol (cf. figures 1 et 4),
- d'une tige 11 réglable au niveau de l'étrier 9 permettant ainsi de régler l'angle de déverrouillage de la genouillère 20 par le collier 4,
- d'un fourreau 12 fixé et articulé sur le collier 4 au niveau de l'axe x6 permettant à la tige 11 de coulisser librement en position de roulage et rendant possible un mouvement du collier 4 vers l'avant et vers l'arrière, selon un débattement limité oc représenté sur les figures 2 et 3, sans déclenchement intempestif de la genouillère 20. Le fourreau 12 est pourvu d'une butée B2 servant à prendre appui sur la tige 11 pour déclencher le système de freinage 10 dans la position dite de freinage du patineur. Un tel système 10 peut être verrouillé de manière permanente, par un moyen V (cf. figure 6) du type vis pour la position dite de roulage, et en supprimant la tige 11, le fourreau 12 et l'étrier 9.

The sheath 12 is provided with a stop B2 serving to bear on the rod 11 to trigger the braking system 10 in the so-called position braking system.
