Abstract

A vehicle battery consisting of a case supported on a base is disclosed. The underside of the case comprises electrical connections (4a) facing the electrical connections (4b) of the base, and the base includes at least one thicker portion comprising a recess (6) and a cover (5). The electrical power distribution system of the vehicle is fitted in said recess. The base further comprises a rear pivot means enabling the case to be pivoted. Said battery may be used in any kind of vehicle.
