Abstract

The holder for an opened out road map which can be subsequently folded after use comprises two parts. These consist of a main section (1) having end stops (2) and a part of least thickness (4) and clamping points (5). A second sliding section (6), engaged in the main section, is held by the stops. The part of least thickness enables folding of the map. The slide section enables, according to its position (6.1), holding the opened out map or its folding. The clamping points allow fastening of the holder on each of the vertical sides of the map (7) by rivets.
