Abstract

The upright refrigerator has a freezer compartment (3) housing a sliding drawer (5) for conservation of foodstuffs. The freezer compartment has its own door (4). The drawer has a body of concave structure (7), with a separate face plate (8) which can carry markings indicating e.g the manufacturer or model, or labelling the contents of the drawers. The face plate may also be of differing colours for, say, differing models. The face plate clips into place on the front face of the drawer. The front face of the drawer has the side walls extended to fit into guides (60) on the inner wall of the freezer compartment.
