Abstract

The step assembly is made together with a surrounding flange (1b) for joining it to adjacent panels of the pool to allow for the fitting of a sealing film. The flange from a U-shaped surround with ribs for the assembly of a liner together with seal and fixing strips. The assembly is produced by injecting into a mould of the required shape a very small quantity of powder, pref. of polyethylene or polypropylene to produce a very thin skin, and subjecting the mould to the action of a furnace while it is rotated in different directions. After removal from the furnace a powder of the same material as the skin, but with added expansion agents, is injected into the mould. This is followed by further furnace action and mould rotation to produce a cellular structure adjoining the thin film skin.

L'escalier selon l'invention, est obtenu par rotomoulage.
