Abstract

The easily strippable electrical cable comprises insulated conductors and a sheath surrounding them and having at least one longitudinal rib and at least one longitudinal groove, forming between them at least one set of associated elements for the stripping operation. It is characterised in that each external rib (10, 11, 12, 13) has a cross-section of substantially radial axis in the thickness of the sheath (4) and constitutes an initiator for fracture of the sheath, and in that each set of associated elements is formed by a pair of two first elements (10-11, 12-13) of the same type and by a third element (14, 15) of the other type, centred between the two first ones, making it possible to catch and pull on the sheath and to cause it to tear longitudinally.
