Abstract

- L'éclairage par la lumière noire à rayons ultra-violets d'instrumentations de bord et commandes logées à l'intérieur des tableaux de bord et sur ceux-ci. - L'invention concerne l'éclairage par la lumière noire des indications chiffres, aiguilles, lettres et symboles peints sur les cadrans et les commandes en excitant leur fluorescence. Ce procédé est particulièrement applicable à l'industrie automobile, aéronautique, navale et ferroviaire.

Description

La présente invention concerne : l'éclairage par la lumière noire ou lumière de Wood, des cadrans d'indicateurs, compteurs et instrumentation des tableaux de bord d'automobiles, d'aéronefs et de bateaux.
- L'éclairage habituel et conventionnel est ordinairement assuré et diffusé par des ampoules électriques à incandescence.
- Le nombre croissant de commandes et cadrans à éclairer oblige les constructeurs à multiplier le nombre d'ampoules, d'où des installations électriques complexes et coûteuses.
- L'emploi de la lumière noire à l'intérieur des indicateurs et compteurs fait apparaître sans reflets gênants les chiffres, les aiguilles, les lettres et graduations peintes.
< L.e5-eommandes > -reviesf boutons, interrupteurs peuvent être éclairés de l'extérieur par des ampoules à lumière noire, logées dans les moulures des tableaux de bord, ou à partir d'endroits judicieusement choisis à l'intérieur des habitacles ou cockpits de façon à diriger la lumière sur les symboles, lettres et indications peintes sur les boutons de commandes, interrupteurs, leviers ; la lumière noire excitant seulement la fluorescence de ces signes peints.
- Un minimum d'ampoules ou tubes fluorescents à lumière noire peuvent éclairer un grand nombre de commandes de manière confortable et beaucoup moins couteuses.

    REVENDICATIONS caractérisé par l'emploi de la lumière noire.

    visibles dans 1 t obscurité.
    à cet effet, excitent leur fluorescence les rendant ainsi
    dirigées sur toutes les commandes et instrumentations peintes
    en ce qu'un nombre restreint de sources de lumière noire
