La présente invention est relative à une prétailleuse pour vigne palissée permettant d'effectuer automatiquement et rapidement une première coupe brute des sarments avant une seconde coupe de finition. Une telle prétailleuse est notamment utilisée sur des vignes du type
Guyot taillées en cordon de Royat simple ou double, c'est-àdire comprenant un ou deux bras soutenus par un premier fil porteur à une hauteur de 50 centimètres du sol et dont les sarments verticaux s'accrochent sur un ou deux fils porteurs supérieurs parallèles.
