Abstract

The extension is formed by a rod (1) hinged from a panel (5). The panel rests under the stump of the driver's leg. If the stump of the leg is lowered the panel is tilted downward at its outer edge and moves the rod forward. The outer end of the rod is positioned so that it will press downward on the clutch pedal of the motor vehicle. The plate under the driver's leg can be flat or curved, and may have an adhesive material on its inner edge to prevent it slipping on the seat covering.
