Abstract

The unit consists of an exterior sleeve (1) threaded (2) and pierced axially with a longitudinal hole (10) along its whole length. This allows a fixing screw (11) or (13) to be introduced into this hole whereby the whole unit is fixed to one element (5). A second element (9) pierced with a hole is fitted over the exterior sleeve, and positionally-adjusted by a nut (8) threaded onto the external thread of the exterior sleeve. USE/ADVANTAGE - As a double-function screw for adjusting and fixing together two elements, instead of using two separate items to carry out this function.
