Abstract

The framework assembly for sealing joints and bodywork panels comprises longitudinal frames (2,2'), lateral side frames (8,8') and uprights (6,6',7,7',10,11) at the junction between the longitudinal and side frames. Cross members (3,4) connect between the longitudinal frames. The elements of the framework carry mounting grooves for sealing joints (25,26) having a protection edge which extends parallel to the joint (25,26) and is ended by a connecting fold to a stiffening wall. The framework has assembly spans situated at the ends of the stiffening wall and encastred in a support section for a sealing joint (26).
