Abstract

The invention relates to a device which can be added when a marine anchor is manufactured and which allows this anchor to be weighed after mooring, even if the flukes are engaged under some obstacle. This device is made up by a metallic framework in the form of a U (1) which fits over the stem of the anchor (2) and which is fixed to the common shaft (5); its closed part, equipped with an anchor ring (6) substantially extends beyond the stem at its free end. On its internal lateral faces, in its middle, are fixed two metallic hemispheres which fit into blind holes of the same shape and size, formed in the thickness of the stem, at the same level (3). When the anchor resists weighing, vigorous pulling will free the framework from the stem by its branches moving apart, which will allow it to pivot on the axis (5) and will facilitate the release of the anchor by pulling it via its head (Figure 1bis in fine broken line).
