Abstract

L'implant fémoral pour prothèse de hanche sous forme d'une tige (1) destinée à être introduite dans le canal médullaire, est remarquable en ce que la tige présente, dans sa partie proximale (1a) et dans le plan frontal, des nervures (1b) convenablement orientées selon un rayon de courbure (R1-R2) correspondant au mouvement d'introduction de ladite tige dans le canal médullaire.

Description

Implant fémoral
L'invention concerne tout type de tige fémorale présentant de manière connue, un col latéralisé destiné à recevoir une tête sphérique destinée à coopérer avec la cavité-cotylolde de l'os illiaque.
Selon l'invention, on a voulu améliorer les caractéristiques de la tige pour résoudre différents problèmes que l'on rencontre généralement soit au moment de la pose, soit ultérieurement.
Un des problèmes que se propose de résoudre l'invention est de faciliter l'introduction de l'élément fémoral de prothèse dans le canal médullaire, tout en facilitant son orientation angulaire, correspondant à un parfait remplissage métaphysaire.
Un tel problème est résolu en ce que l'élément fémoral présente, dans sa partie proximale et dans le plan frontal, des nervures convenablement orientées selon un rayon de courbure correspondant au mouvement d'introduction dans le canal médullaire.
Un autre problème que se propose de résoudre l'invention est d'assurer une parfaite stabilité métaphysaire ainsi qu'un ancrage optimum.
Un tel problème est résolu en ce que les nervures sont formées en relief en relief de chacune des faces interne et externe de la partie proximale de la tige.
Un autre problème que se propose de résoudre l'invention est de parfaitement adapter la tige au profil de la cavité médullaire du fémur.
Pour résoudre ce problème, la tige est de section dégressive dans le plan frontal et sagittal depuis sa partie proximale jusqu a son extrémité distale, avec une section méplate à bords arrondis au niveau de sa partie proximale, ladite section se raccordant progressivement jusqu a une section ronde au niveau de son extrémité distale.

La figure 1 est une vue de la tige considérée dans le plan frontal.
La figure 2 est une vue en coupe transversale considérée selon la ligne 2-2 de la figure 1.
Les figures 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 et 8 sont des vues en coupe transversale considérées respectivement selon les lignes 3-3, 4-4, 5-5, 6-6, 7-7 et 8-8 de la figure 2.
Comme le montre la figure 1, la tige fémorale (i) présente dans sa partie proximale (la) et dans le plan frontal, sur chacune de ses faces interne et externe, des nervures (lb). Selon une caractéristique à la base de 1 invention, ces nervures (lb) sont respectivement orientées selon un rayon de courbure (Rl-R2) déterminé pour correspondre au mouvement d'introduction de l'ensemble de la tige dans le canal médullaire. Ces nervures sont formées en relief de chacune des faces interne et externe de la partie proximale de la tige (figure 2).
On prévoit, d'une manière connue, de déposer, au niveau de la partie proximale de la tige, une couche de titane poreux sous forme de plasma spray. Avantageusement, cette couche de titane poreux peut être intégrée dans l'épaisseur de la prothèse.
Suivant une autre caractéristique, la tige (i) est de section dégressive dans le plan frontal et dans plan sagittal depuis son extrémité proximale jusqu a son extrémité distale.
Au niveau de sa partie proximale, la section de la tige est très sensiblement méplate, avec des bords arrondis (figure 3). Cette section se raccorde progressivement jusqu a une section ronde au niveau de l'extrémité distale de la tige (figure 8). On renvoie aux figures 4, 5, 6 et 7 qui montrent ce changement progressif de section. A noter que la tige (i) présente du coté interne, quelle que soit sa forme en section, un bord arrondi sous forme d'un demi cercle.
Ces dispositions permettent d'adapter parfaitement la tige au profil de la cavité médullaire.
Les avantages ressortent bien de la description.

Claims (3)

    REVENDICATIONS
  1. -1- Implant fémoral pour prothèse de hanche sous forme d'une tige (i) destinée à être introduite dans le canal médullaire, caractérisé en ce que la tige présente, dans sa partie proximale (la) et dans le plan frontal, des nervures (lb) convenablement orientées selon un rayon de courbure (Rl-R2) correspondant au mouvement d'introduction de ladite tige dans le canal médullaire.
  2. -2- Implant fémoral selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que les nervures (lb) sont formées en relief de chacune des faces interne et externe de la partie proximale de la tige (1).
  3. -3- Implant fémoral selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la tige est de section dégressive dans le plan frontal et sagittal depuis sa partie proximale jusqu'à son extrémité distale, avec une section méplate à bords arrondis au niveau de sa partie proximale, ladite section se raccordant progressivement jusqu'à une section ronde au niveau de son extrémité distale.
