Abstract

The telephone instrument conventionally includes an equipment housing (2, 3) carrying, on its front, a handset (4) and possibly control and dialling elements. A base (7) forming a wedge, can be connected externally between the bottom (2A) of the housing by hooking on fixing elements (14) arranged symmetrically on this base, with complementary members formed in the region of the bottom of the housing, outside the latter.
