Abstract

The principle of this method lies in the use of bridge floors (decks) which are prefabricated at their definitive location instead of the conventional auxiliary metal bridge decks used to shore up the various infrastructure constructions of rail bridges. The definitive decks rest on a device of vertical supports of a first phase on which the definitive reinforced concrete header beams bear, the preliminary production of these constructions requiring only a simple and local reinforcement of the track. The design of the infrastructure constructions for the rail bridge incorporates the first phase vertical supports. This method according to the invention is particularly designed for any civil engineering bridge construction work under a track, of the rail bridge type.
