Abstract

Device for weighing beehives which are being exploited. The invention relates to a device which includes: - on the one hand, a U-shaped support which raises the hive from its usual support and remains permanently underneath it; - on the other hand, a variable-thickness mechanism including a balance B at its centre, at the upper part, which mechanism can be used for all the hives. The weighing operation consists in: - inserting the variable-thickness mechanism while it is at its minimum thickness into the U-shaped support which supports the hive; - manoeuvring the mechanism thus inserted making it possible to bring it to its maximum thickness and therefore to raise the hive from its support; the hive then resting solely on the balance B of this mechanism.
