Abstract

The invention relates to a tap which makes it possible to avoid leaks of pressurised liquids, using a novel device. It consists of a normal moulded tap body. This body includes three recesses 16, 17, 15 and a female cone frustrum 14, a threaded part 10 which provides guidance for the spindle of the control mechanism. The spindle for controlling the mechanism includes a male cone 13, a threaded part 19, an undercut part 21, and a threaded part 12 for screwing the control knob, itself threaded inside. A nut 4 for closing the mechanism acts as a gland. The seal 5 is made from hard rubber. The connection part 20 is externally threaded. The device which is inverted with respect to the inlet of the liquids may be fitted to valves and solenoid valves in various fields of industry, this tap may be of use to private individuals. It is a safety device which is easy to fit.
