Abstract

The wetting device for an offset machine according to the invention allows the conversion of rotary presses equipped in dry offset for wet offset printing, and the elimination of wetting rollers on offset machines (rotary presses and sheet) equipped with conventional wetting apparatus. For this purpose, the device uses the siphoning system in wet offset. It comprises: a water reservoir 1 which supplies through a water spout 6 a spray rail comprising nozzles 3 with pipes 5. The nozzles 3 are actuated by a control panel 10 fitted with a preselection meter 9 and a pressure reduction system 8 for supplying 7 compressed air for the siphoning. The siphoning method in the wet offset printing method is applicable in the field of printing.
