Abstract

The jib of the invention comprises an arm 1 whose rear end is articulated on a horizontal pin 3 at the front of the chassis. Above and under the said pin 3 there is a means for fixing the rear end of a spring 9 working in friction. The arm 1 includes a means 13 for retaining the front end of the spring 9. The jib of the invention can be fitted to all trailers, particularly those for which it was not provided in manufacture.
