Abstract

The present invention relates to electrical current generators for industrial applications, which can be inverted into variable-speed generators of mechanical energy, using the phenomena of induction. The machine comprises in association at least two similar armatures 1 and 2, angularly offset in separate parallel planes with common axis of alignment. The armatures are coiled alternately in opposite directions along their respective planes. These armatures are furthermore connected, from one plane to the other, by ferromagnetic elements for transverse linkage 7 and 8 by their ends, so as to constitute the continuous ferromagnetic circuit. The inductor 9-10 is movable and of homopolar type, which includes as many pole pairs as armatures and is excited by a hollow coil whose flanges 13 are solid with the framework of the machine. The framework of the machine is made from a non-magnetic material.
