Abstract

The invention relates to a device making it possible rapidly to connect cleaning rods without the risk of them becoming uncoupled as a result of various forces exerted on them. It consists, on the one hand, of a connection 1 comprising a centering hole 2 and two clamping teeth 3 which provide the connection with the interacting component 4. It consists, on the other hand, of a second connector composed of four components 5, 4, 12, 14 the base part 5 of which is secured to the component 4 by threading 6, 8 and pinning 7 and 9 which comprises a centering stub 10 and of teeth 11 which interlock in the elements of the component 1 by engagement and rotation. The assembly is encased by a sliding ring 12 with castellations 13 coming to lock the components 1 and 4 together under the action of a spring 14.
