Abstract

This precast block is of the parallelepipedal block type having, on at least two faces, ribs and grooves for the dry-interlocking of the blocks. At least its two faces intended for the interlocking of the blocks comprise not only a wide vertical groove 1, but also a horizontal rib 5 which extends over the whole width of this groove, prolongs the upper face of the block and forms, by its transverse vertical face, the bearing zone for the corresponding vertical rib 4 of the adjacent block, this rib 5 acting as grasping member enabling the block to be handled.
