Abstract

The invention relates to a metal structure supporting a "PVC" sheet for use as a mobile shelter for any type of location. It consists of rectangular 1 and triangular 2 modules formed of standard elements : a straight beam 3 and an arched beam 4 of identical triangular cross-section. Its design enables it to take various shapes, such as a triangle, trapezium, hexagon, rectangle and the like, and makes it into a shelter of variable surface area, depending on the number and form of the modules selected. The straight beam is used simultaneously as a wall plate 5, raising column 6, cantilevered system 7 and flying-buttress raiser 12; the arched beam is used as a flying buttress, roof arch and element of the dome which surmounts the structure using triangular modules. Each roof arch receives ties 9 which form a gangway 10 and thus provide a continuous walking surface at 10 metres off the ground. The whole structure is formed of steel or aluminium tubes, which allows the fastening of any technical element. This structure is particularly recommended for shows, sports, exhibitions and festivals.
