Abstract

For laying a cover frame, a rubber seal 10 is inserted between a first precast concrete ring 6, which is firmly attached by means of quick-setting cement 5 to the shaft 1 of the manhole and to the foundation 3 of the road, and a second precast concrete ring 12 in which the cover frame 13 is embedded or anchored, the two frames 6, 12 being clamped against each other by means of bolts 17. Application in particular to the laying of cover frames on roads.
