Abstract

Device for coupling a rotary machine 1 to a drive shaft 2, comprising means 5 for rotationally connecting the said drive shaft 2 and the shaft 6 of the said rotary machine 1, and means of mechanical support arranged between the structure 4 in relation to which the said drive shaft 2 turns and the stator of the said rotary machine 1, in order to support the latter and prevent rotational driving of the said stator. According to the invention, this device is characterised in that the said means of support comprise two bars 11, 12 connected by their lower section at two vertically symmetrical points of the stator of the said rotary machine 1 and by their upper section to one another and to the said structure 4.
