Abstract

According to the invention, the cap, moulded as a single component from plastic, and intended to cover the head and the drive shaft as well as the end of the clevis for connecting to the blade carrier arm of a windscreen wiper drive device, comprises a removable cover 2 which is closed by elastic clipping-in, by virtue of the stud 26, onto a cap base 1 having elastic clip-in members for fastening to the head, and consisting of a U-shaped part 3 to which the cover 2 is articulated by elastic hinges 19 so as to allow access to the connection between the head and the shaft, and a domed part 4 which covers the end of the clevis. Application to motor vehicle equipment.
