Apparatus with revolving table for the selection of objects such as caps, characterised in that the level of the rim 5 of the revolving table 3 is located below the level of its middle part 6, in that the distance between the underside 8 of the ring 2 and said middle part is greater than the thickness of a cap and in that said underside comprises a circular groove 9 whose outward edge 10 is located, with respect to the plane containing said middle part, at a distance less than the thickness of a cap C, the dimensions of the baffle formed by the revolving table, the ring and its groove being such that only caps that are lying on their top can negotiate said baffle and reach the low part of said table.
