Abstract

The frame (3-5,6) for a wall-hung picture (15) can be converted into an occasional table (7), by lowering the bottom horizontal side (5) of the frame, with its support. The side slides down along two guides (1,2) moving along two grooves (10,11) in the vertical uprights of the frame (3,4). The two slide pieces are linked to the table by two axles (8). Two coil springs inside the vertical sides of the frame control the lowering of the picture/ table.
