Description
The custom of raising pets is spreading more and more around the world. The man is attached to the dog, his most faithful friend. Raising a dog and taking it for a walk is one of the pleasures of life, but the classic leash is only used when the dog is on a leash: it must be tied and detached, which is awkward and, in addition, dirty the leash. Unfortunately, if a dog with no identification on his collar gets lost, he is considered a stray dog and captured or killed. The leash according to the invention eliminates all these disadvantages and has four main advantages: (1 ) it comprises a spiral spring and a control stopper for the extension and retraction of the leash, the length of which is adjusted by means of the stopper and which retracts into a box during a period of non-use; (2) a decorative ribbon knot handle remains exposed when the leash is retracted into the casing and an identity card affixed to the casing surface allows the owner to enter the name and breed of the animal, as well as his own phone number and address; (3) the collar can be adjusted to the size of the neck of the animal and is convenient to set and remove which eliminates the disadvantage of conventional necklaces pierced with holes; (4) Thanks to the possibility of extension and retraction introduced by the elastic strap and the collar, the leash holds the dog well, but without strangling it when it jumps or throws itself forward.
The invention will now be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the leash according to the invention
- Figure 2 is an exploded view of the structure according to the invention.
The body 1 of the leash according to the invention comprises a leash box 2, a spiral spring 3, an elastic strap 4, a knot-shaped handle 5, a retainer 6, a collar 7 and an identity card 17; the spiral spring 3, the elastic belt 4 and plates 8 and 9 being assembled inside the leash box 2. This box 2 comprises an identity card 17 stuck on its surface, a collar receiving eyelet 10, a slit-slider 11 and a slot 12 for extracting the spiral spring 3. The fancy handle 5 is connected to one end of the elastic belt 4 by a connector 13 and is exposed to the end of the liner 2. The collar 7 passes through the eyelet 10 and has on one side of the male elements 14 and 25 and, on the other side, female elements 16 of snap fasteners ensuring its attachment to the neck of the animal.
Figure 2 shows disassembled the two shells, before 2a and rear 2b, the liner box 2. Two plates 8 and 9 maintain the spiral spring 3 on an axis 18 and allow it to properly ensure the extension or retraction of the elastic band 4. The stopper 6, mounted in the slit-slide 11, is intended to adjust the length of extension or retraction of the elastic belt 4 emerging from the outlet 12. After retraction of the spiral spring 3, is connected to the connector 13 at the end of the elastic belt 4 to the fancy handle 5, the latter remaining outside on the leash box 2 in the manner of a decorative bow tie, which can be change by means of the connector 13. The collar 7 and the elastic belt 4 are made of material with a high elasticity. The male snap button elements 14 and 15 and female 16 can adjust the collar 7 according to the size of the neck of the animal.
The lower pressure button member 15 serves to limit the vibrations of the leash box 2. The identity card 17 affixed to the front shell 2a of the box 2 bears the name and breed of the animal, the telephone number and the address of the owner etc.
