Abstract

The painting roller turns freely on the spindle of a mounting fixed to a handle and having a bearing at each end. A tubular body joins the bearings together, and they are locked on the spindle in the axial direction. The locks engage automatically, and comprise a clip (5) with multiple slots (6) and of elastic material, integral with or fixed to the front bearing and with trapezium-shaped protrusions. At the inlet to the clip the angle is obtuse and of approximately 150 degrees for opening and locking, while in the opposite direction, for release it is smaller of about 130 deg.
