Abstract

Two circuit cards (8A,8B) are mounted in a housing which clips onto a rail by means of shaped clasps (4A1 4A2 4A3). The housing is made in the form of two complementary hollow halves (2A,2B) which fold about a common hinge poing (3A,3B). The hinges are in the form of flexible tongues. Electrical connector elements (5A1,--5AN) are assembled in one half of the folding housing. The housing is made of an insulating plastics material and the two halves snap together by means of an inter-locking pin and cavity (6B2, 7A1) arrangement. When closed, the two halves form a completely enclosed box. A flexible ribbon cable (9) links the circuit cards ib the two halves. Screw-type wire terminals fitted in one half (5A1,5A2) fit into recesses (OB1,12B2) moulded on the other half.
