Abstract

The brake control valve (12) is fitted with a pivoted lever (16) with the free end linked to the axle by a rigid linkage. The lever is limited in its upwards travel by a threaded stop (26) on a spindle (22) screwed into the valve and extending through a hole in the lever. The valve is operated via a sprung link (42) at the top of the valve operating shaft (28).
