Abstract

Each assembly consists of a conical stud ending in a screw thread and entering the conical bore of a flanged bush with a shoulder on its external dia. The minor dia. of the bush is inserted in a hole in a wall requiring protection against corrosion by a scrifical anode, whereas the major dia. of the bush is inserted in a hole in the anode. The bush also has a longitudinal slot which is pref. oblique w.r.t the axis of the bush. When a nut is screwed onto the stud, the anode is clamped against the wall to be protected by the flange on the bush. The bolt assemblies are simple and rapid to use, and replace lengthy welding operations, which can be dangerous when undertaken in oil tanker ships.

Dans l'anode 15 sont pratiqués deux trous 17 correspondant au diamètre externe de la partie 6, tandis que dans la paroi 16 sont pratiqués deux trous 18 correspondant au diamètre externe de la partie 8, chaque trou 17 étant aligné avec un trou 18.Pour assurer la fixation de l'anode 15 sur la paroi 16, on engage le manchon 1 de manière que la partie 8 traverse le trou 18, tandis que la partie 6 traverse le trou 17 et que la collerette 5 porte contre la face libre de ladite anode, puis on enfonce, à l'aide d'un marteau, par exemple, la barrette 2 et on engage, sur la partie filetée 11, la rondelle 3 et l'écrou 4, celui-ci étant serré à l'aide d'une clé. On conçoit que ce montage est simple, rapide et parfaitement efficace. Il présente, de plus, l'avantage de permettre un remplacement simple et rapide de l'anode.
