Abstract

The fireplace has the base, fireback and overhead surfaces formed from a series of square hollow sections. The sections (5) are assembled side by side to form the horizontal hearth and continue vertically up the back of the fireplace to return at an incline to form the roof of the enclosure. To allow the smoke to escape into the chimney alternate rear vertical tubes are made with different heights (1,2). The room air enters the tubes at the front of the hearth (3) and discharges into the room from the outlet (4). Fire bars (6) are fixed to the assembly to contain the fuel.

Description

DESCRIPTION
DESCRIPTION
The invention relates to hollow andirons, inside which air circulates. This air heated by the hearth of the chimney, on the 3 faces of the appliance, exits through the upper orifices. It is replaced by the ambient air in the room, entering through the lower orifices. the hot air then spreads in the room and its temperature at the outlet of the appliance reaches; depending on the size of the focus, between 110 and 2000C. The ambient temperature rises quickly and varies, always depending on the size of the home, between 20 and 250C. (Communication door open). A small fireplace is enough to maintain a pleasant temperature.

The invention carried out as a prototype has the following characteristics
Metal pipes (iron, cast iron, etc.) which can be different sections (shapes and dimensions) mounted in a C shape (#) whose ends (air inlet and outlet) slightly exceed the frame of the chimney, so the incoming air is the ambient air in the room and the hot outgoing air spreads into the room and mixes with the ambient air.

These tubes are assembled in such a way as to allow the normal evacuation of smoke and gases.

Indeed: The tubing follows the shape of the other, of the reluctant, then bent at 2 different heights (1 and 2) to then go back up to the same level, up to the upper part of the frame. Their ends protrude slightly from this frame of the chimney, both for the outlet of the hot air, and for the entry of ambient air. (3 and 4)
Tubing is assembled by 3 or 4, so
a) to allow the normal evacuation of gases and smoke, by inserting the pipes 1 and 2, which aims to leave a sufficient passage between 2 pipes, while using the maximum heating surface.

b) to constitute an element with a flat, stable bottom, on which burn the fireplace (5)
c) characterized by the fact that the elements placed side by side offer a maximum heating surface on the 3 faces (hearth, reluctance and upper part) and consequently a maximum of heat recovery.

The arms of the andirons supporting the logs are fixed on the right and left elements (6), the intermediate elements not having any.

1 application dwarf of the Invention = Device capable of being used in all existing or building chimneys. It can be manufactured in several common dimensions or possibly the dimensions of the chimney.

Quels sont les principaux avantages industriels
a) Grosse économie d'énergie.
What are the main industrial advantages
a) Big energy saving. Given the maximum heat recovery, a modest fireplace is enough to maintain a good temperature.

Ils se placent simplement comme une paire de chenets ou de landiers. c) Requires absolutely no installation costs, no transformation of the chimney, no preparatory work whatsoever. They are simply placed as a pair of andirons or landiers.

By leaving the communication door open, the temperature softens in the other rooms of the apartment.

e) Ces appareils peuvent comprendre plusieurs éléments, dont le nombre dépendra de l'importance du cube à chauffer, de la section des tubulures employées et de la température désirée.  e) These devices can include several elements, the number of which will depend on the size of the cube to be heated, the cross-section of the pipes used and the desired temperature.
