Abstract

The drain is for the fixed or moving frame of a window made from steel or aluminium, where condensation or dripping water may occur. The curved drain (11) is placed at intervals along the bottom traverse and is connected to the central chamber (12) by brazing (15). The drain connects to the outside (13) without intermediate leakage and its exit to the outside is protected from the weather by a cowling of hard plastics (17).

Description

The present invention relates to a device intended for evacuating runoff water on the opening or sleeping low cross member of window frames in steel or aluminum metal joinery.

According to the present invention, a tube of copper or of elastically malleable material connects a water collection groove to an external discharge opening protected by a storm shield.

These tubes are arranged at spaced intervals along the length of the crosspiece.

An object of the present invention is to provide an installation of nozzles draining and discharging the water which enters the windows.

Another object of the invention is to provide a constant evacuation of runoff infiltration water in the lower crosspieces of the windows, avoiding the risk of condensation by micro-cracks in the joints of the insulating glazing units (fogging of the interior faces).

The embodiment of the present invention is described below, with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Figure 1 shows a cross section of a rigid water evacuation tube on a steel metal frame, constituting a first embodiment of the invention on a steel profile.

Figure 2 shows a cross section of a flexible tubing -to water discharge on aluminum chassis constituting a second embodiment of the invention on an aluminum profile.

In figure l, we see a copper water evacuation tube of appropriate diameter (11) connecting
a relaxation room (12) and a natural environment (13). This tube
is fixed by brazing solder (15) after drilling the profile in the
relaxation room (14). Towards the outside, this tube comes out freely through the hole drilled with a diameter slightly larger than the latter.
(16). The tube opening is protected by a hard plastic storm guard (17). This device is fixed in the lower part
steel steel windows with crossbeam - nonffitubular, it allows evacuation of seepage water to the outside so that
they do not stay in the relaxation room and do not overflow gutters for recovering these waters.

In Figure 2, we see a flexible water evacuation tube (PVC) of appropriate diameter (18) connecting a profile bottom (19) and a natural exidu (20); the tube is fixed
at the bottom of the profile by a self-flushing nut 21), after drilling the profile (22). Towards the outside, this flexible tube comes out freely through the drilled hole with a diameter slightly larger than the latter (24). of the tube is protected by a device
