Abstract

The electronic metal detector which is insensitive to temperature effects is used to detect metal in timber or animals. Balancing of the detector circuits is stable and precise. Two coils (L2,L4) are connected in series opposition in a search disc (25) and are connected to an oscillator circuit (24). A third coil (L3) is connected to a two stage tuned amplifier whose output is applied to a loudspeaker (27) and to two indicators (28,29). The inductive bridge circuit formed by the coils is balanced by taking a signal from the oscillator and applying it via a voltage divider circuit (1,2) to the inputs of two amplifiers (22,23) in parallel. Two multiturn potentiometers (13,14) provide balancing controls. The common output is applied as a corrective current to the third coil (L3) to provide balance conditions in the absence of metal.

G = + 1 et à mi course G = O d'ou tension de sortie nulle,grace aux résistances de charge 7 et 8 de valeur différente nous pouvons obtenir à la sortiede ce dispositif un courant de sens et intensité ré glable avec une trés grande préçision, ce courant est fabriqué par 2 amplis opérationnels en paralléles,le retour de l'inductance L3 se faisant sur le point de jonction des résistances 8 et 9 ( 9 étant de trés faible valeur ) il devient aisé en agissant sur les potentiomètres 13 et 14 d'obtenir un équilibre prévis du pont d'induction mutuelle du disque d'exploration,cela se traduit par une stabilité et une sensibilité plus grande des appareils.
