Abstract

The aerodynamic deflector for vehicles towing caravans, include a cross-beam whose two ends are provided with clamps which attach to the gutters (7) of the vehicle. A flexible panel (9), of ribbed, plastics is adjustably secured to the cross-beam and is normally inclined with its highest point rearmost. The panel is put under tension using inextensible flexible straps (21) to ensure that the leading edge of the panel conforms exactly with the shape of the vehicle's roof.
