Abstract

Four de fusion de métaux. Il comporte deux compartiments distincts 1, 5, l'un destiné à recevoir les objets en vrac devant être soumis au processus de fusion et l'autre devant recevoir le métal liquide, ayant son fond placé à un niveau plus bas que la sole du premier compartiment, laquelle est, de préférence, un peu inclinée vers le second compartiment, et communique avec lui par des orifices pour l'écoulement du métal fondu; le four peut pivoter dans deux sens différents et est pourvu de deux ouvertures qui sont opposées par rapport à l'axe de pivotement, pour décharger les résidus non fondus par une ouverture et assurer la coulée de métal fondu par l'autre ouverture. Application à la séparation d'un métal à point de fusion tel que les métaux et alliages légers mélangés avec d'autres métaux à point de fusion plus élevé tels que les métaux ferreux.
