Abstract

L'invention conerne un procédé pour fabriquer du coke métallurgique, dans lequel on agglomère du charbon fin cokéfiable ou non pour enfourner ensuite ledit aggloméré cru dans une cellule de carbonisation avec du charbon fin cokéfiable. Le procédé est caractérisé en ce que l'agglomération du charbon fin est effectuée en présence d'un solvant et/ou liant comportant au moins un goudron de houille chauffé à une température comprise entre 200 degrés C et 600 degrés C, et de préférence entre 300 degrés C et 450 degrés C, pendant le temps nécessaire et suffisant pour qu'il y ait polycondensation. Application à la charge des hauts fourneaux.
