Abstract

The machine has a work table with a support arm (2) on it, pivoting on an axis parallel to the saw blade. The arm supports the sawing mechanism and adjustable height saw table (8) around the blade upper part. The saw table moves in front of and behind the support arm. It also moves relative to the blade (4) so that in front of the table the middle of the table edge coincides roughly with the extension of the blade axis. Behind it, for mitre work, the front edge (8a) is positioned near the saw circumference.
