Abstract

This is for use with a circular saw where the blade with drive motor is fitted to a height adjustable rocker arm, and where a splitting wedge is fitted on the side of the blade furthest from the operator as separating organ for the sawn units. The guide rocker arm for the coupling may form a parallelogram rod system with the blade rocker arm relative to their hinges. The wedge may also be transversely adjustable on the coupling. The blade rocker arm may be spring supported against the circular saw frame. The wedge height can easily adjusted with that of the blade, without changing its position relative to the latter or to the workpiece.
