Abstract

The packing carton is made from a single sheet of cardboard. The base has a flange (5) which is divided into three sections. The carton is formed by folding along the edges (13A&B) and (14A&B) about the centre lines (8, 9). The sides of the carton has a tab (6) at one end which is glued under the opposite edge (7) of the carton. The top of the carton may have any desired shape. The top of the carton is square with a side equal to L and the base of the carton is flat.
