Abstract

Equipement destiné à protéger un véhicule de combat contre les munitions du type à charge creuse. Il comprend un bouclier 4 monté sur le tube 3 du canon 2 situé à l'extérieur du véhicule 1. Le bouclier 4 est agencé de façon à provoquer l'allumage de la charge explosive d'un projectile à une certaine distance du châssis du véhicule 1 et à laisser une certaine visibilité à travers lui pour l'équipage de l'engin, en vue de la préparation du tir et de l'observation. Application à la protection des chars d'assaut et d'engins blindes de divers types.
