L'invention concerne une électrode sensible à la présence d'un ion halogénure X- en solution. La partie de l'électrode sensible à la présence d'ions est une membrane non poreuse 24 constituée d'un amalgame solide, par exemple d'or et de mercure, auquel est mélangé un sel mercureux finement divisé et un ion halogénure X** -, par exemple sous la forme de Hg2 Cl2 . Domaine d'application : détection et mesures potentiométriques.
