Abstract
The rail wagon mover has two arms of different lengths, braced together. The arms and brace (8, 9, 15) form a parallelogram. This is deformed by the wagon ahead (W2) propelled by ram or chain to move the second wagon (W1). The arms can be cranks which can come in contact with stops (B1, B2) of adjoining wagons (W1, W2). The leading crank (8) is shorter than the trailing one (9). The leading stop (B2) acts on the head (6) of the leading crank (8) which pushes the trailing stop (B1) of the trailing wagon (W1).
