Abstract

High wear at the end of a watch bracelet where it is attached to the case is avoided by making the case in two parts which hinge together. The bracelet is attached to one of these parts without damaging the aesthetic appearance of the watch. A watch case(1) has articulated sections(3) attached to either side by two hinge sections one (2) of which is part of the case while the other(4) forms part of the articulated section. The hinge turns around an axis(5) and the bracelet is fixed to the articulated sections by screws (8) in the underside which enter holes(9). The screws pass through a small plate(7) against the bracelet and then through perforations in the bracelet which align with holes in the articulated sections.
