Abstract

The pallet is rectangular and has two longitudinal ribs (13) equally spaced between the side walls (12). The pallet also has end walls (18). The sides of the ribs are chamfered to accommodate the sides of the barrels. The pallet is lifted at the side, with the forks of the lifting truck fitting the slots, (17) or at the end, through theslots (19). the lower part of the pallet is shaped to stackon the tops of the lower barrels.
